The Detroit Lakes City Council recently adopted acomprehensive Business Corridors Redevelopment Plan.
Implementation ofthis exciting and dynamic plan will begin in 2009 and incorporates many key areas in the
downtown, West Lake Drive, North Washington Avenue and other sites.

Eventual implementation ofthe plan will result in improvements to the retail sector, additional sites for businesses, green spaces and trail systems, enhancement to traffic patterns additional parking areas, streetscapes and an overall facelift to the center ofthe City.
